The weather was pleasant and I was able to photograph the outdoor beauty. I dressed in layers to control my body heat. I wore a fluffy hat and the raincoat hoody kept it in place. Full review by Veronica H

Hi Veronica, Bigfoot should be able to advise on the best time to hike this site. I'd say it depends on where you start your hike from and where you are heading next but from personal experience, I think it's best if you reach G glacier around noon when weather is a bit warmer although weather conditions cannot be guaranteed. This should allow time to enjoy the magnificent landscape, take pictures and hike back to your base/next camp while there is still daylight / before evening. We visited G glacier as part of a 22Km day hike leaving Pehoe early in the morning, to reach the glacier after 3 hours, break for an hour and head back to Pehoe for the night. Ours was a long hike obviously so depending on your itinerary you should plan accordingly. Enjoy your trip! Eleni
