RBSL was launched in July 2019 as a new, UK-based joint venture business between BAE Systems and Rheinmetall. The business has a proud heritage, having designed and delivered many of the Army's armoured vehicle fleets under different business names. RBSL employs a skilled workforce of more than 700 people, including over 300 engineers and 50 apprentices across its UK sites in Telford, Dorset, Bristol, and Newcastle.
