Yes it sure is....strong ALL year long (because of the snow melting on Mt. Hermon) AND then during the rainy season which is October-April. No swimming for obvious reasons.

There were hiking paths that people were using, but I did not personally hike. The website indicates four walking trails. Three are 45 minutes and end up back at the Banias Springs. The fourth is 90 minutes and ends up at the waterfalls at a different parking location. Does that sound like the one you are referring to?
