Jawad Williams has plenty of memories as a kid in Cleveland. He returned as a young adult to play professional basketball. Now, he's ready to make more memories and help coach his hometown team.

The Knicks and Suns both recently named new people as the next head coaches of their respective franchises. With that comes filling in/replacing seats on the bench for assistant coach spots. Both teams have reportedly shown interest in one coach to be on their bench next season as an assistant.

The next significant change came in the front office when owner Mat Ishbia moved James Jones into an advisory role to install Brian Gregory as the new general manager. Their relationship goes back to their days at Michigan State, where Gregory was an assistant coach and Ishbia a player on the 2000 Michigan State National Championship team.
