The Arizona State baseball team has a rich history and began its quest for the NCAA Tournament with a series sweep over Ohio State. The Sun Devils thrillingly began the season, fighting multiple deficits to come out on top, 9-8. The game had seven lead changes and ended with the umpires reviewing the final scene of the game in the press box.

Head coach Willie Bloomquist starts his fourth year with Arizona State baseball with a thriller against a talented Ohio State team. ASU was only up one in the top of the ninth inning and one out with runners on first and second.
