Spanish club Villarreal has signed midfielder Thomas Partey two days after he was granted bail on rape charges in England.

Villarreal have completed the signing of former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. Partey, 32, has signed a two year deal at the La Liga club, comprising of an initial one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months, with Villarreal confirming the transfer on Thursday.

Villarreal have announced the signing of former Arsenal and Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey on a one-year deal. The move has been met with much criticism due to Partey’s ongoing legal
