Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian immigrant who officials say was living in the U.S. illegally after overstaying a tourist visa, also faces a federal hate crime count.

The man accused of carrying out a terror attack in Boulder, Colo., appeared in court Thursday. Mohamed Soliman is facing 16 counts of attempted murder and other state charges tied to the attack.

Following Sunday's antisemitic attack in Boulder, the Jewish community has come together to support each other, and one of the places that's been an anchor is the Boulder Jewish Community Center. Christian faith leaders gathered at the site of the Boulder terror attack to pray and show solidarity with the city's Jewish community.
