The Orioles on Thursday traded center fielder Cedric Mullins, a member of the organization for the past decade, to the New York Mets.

All-Star Cedric Mullins is heading to Flushing in exchange for prospects Raimon Gonzalez, Anthony Nunez and Chandler Marsh, according to multiple reports. Mullins is slashing .229/.305/.433 with 15 homers and 49 RBI in 91 games this season. The 30-year-old is a free agent at the end of this season.

He’s not the All-Star he was earlier in his career, but he remains a good base runner, a league-average hitter, and a decent defender.
