Former Tennessee baseball standout Drew Gilbert made his Major League Baseball debut over the weekend, becoming the fourth Tennessee product to reach the big leagues this season.

Former Tennessee star Drew Gilbert made his MLB debut with the Giants, becoming the fourth Vol to reach the majors in 2025, capping a historic year for UT baseball.

Drew Gilbert created quite a few memorable moments with his bat when he was with the Tennessee Volunteers. In particular, his walk off grand slam against Wright State in the 2021 postseason still gets replayed from time to time by Vol fans.
