The Flint Cultural Center celebrated Juneteenth at the Longway Planetarium Greenspace on Saturday.

Since Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021, its recognition has continued to grow in Michigan and nationally too.

But Flint’s Juneteenth events are far from over. Upcoming events include: Friday, June 20 - Black Lives Matter Flint Special at McCree Theatre, 6-9 p.m.
