Hugo Ekitike has made no secret of the fact that he has a soft spot for Manchester United, as the race to sign him this summer hots up. The Red Devils are interested in the Eintracht Frankfurt forward, but they are not alone after he scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga last season.

Manchester United appear to be in pole position to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike following his comments last year. After Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres turned down a potential move to Old Trafford, Ruben Amorim has been forced to look elsewhere in his bid to add more firepower to his squad.

Ekitike broke through at hometown club Reims in France and his form quickly attracted PSG, who secured his services for €35million after an initial loan. Aged just 20, Ekitike found himself competing for a strating spot in a star studded frontline that included Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
