Bobby and Bernice Tillman had been living in their new home for a little more than a year when it was hit by the EF-4 tornado that struck Laurel County May 16. Both were confirmed dead Saturday evening after the overnight storms Friday, two of the 19 victims of the tornadoes statewide.

In Louisville, storms are expected to arrive sometime between 5-8 p.m. Maps issued by NWS Louisville at 12:03 p.m. showed southwestern Kentucky, including Bowling Green, under a greater than 10% risk for tornadoes of at least EF-2 strength within 25 miles.

Multiple fatalities have been confirmed in Laurel County, Kentucky following a reported tornado. Saturday morning, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that nine people died and others had numerous severe injuries after the reported tornado.
