In Louisville, storms are expected to arrive sometime between 5-8 p.m. Maps issued by NWS Louisville at 12:03 p.m. showed southwestern Kentucky, including Bowling Green, under a greater than 10% risk for tornadoes of at least EF-2 strength within 25 miles.

LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56) — Several vintage planes were damaged by the recent severe weather in London. Clean-up crews are assessing the destruction at a small airport in London after it was directly hit by the storm. Officials said multiple 70-year-old planes stored at the airport were left with significant damage.
Just before 3 p.m., the Laurel County Fire Department confirmed Maj. Roger Leslie Leatherman was fatally injured while reportedly responding to an potential tornado in the area. He is the second publicly identified victim of Friday’s overnight storms.
Despite nearly everything but them being taken away in the storms, the former pastor says his unique sense of optimism is what keeps him going.
