The New York Mets have reportedly shown interest in Chicago White Sox star Luis Robert Jr. ahead of the MLB trade deadline, but one report suggests the former All-Star would come at a very high price.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic first reported that New York acquired right-handed reliever Tyler Rogers from the Giants. The Mets are reportedly acquiring St. Louis Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan, in exchange for a trio of prospects: Shortstop Jesus Baez (the team's No. 8 overall prospect ), pitcher Nate Dohm (No. 14) and pitcher Frank Elissalt.
