Russia has continued its offensive, killing at least 22 people in Ukraine by launching ballistic missiles and glide bombs into multiple cities despite President Trump’s threats to slap sanctions and shorten the timeline for Moscow to agree to a ceasefire.

The Ukrainian air force said Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles along with 37 Shahed-type strike drones and decoys at Ukraine overnight. It said 32 Shahed drones were intercepted or neutralized by Ukrainian air defenses.

The attack, which came just hours after President Trump gave the Kremlin a new deadline to work toward ending the war, was part of a wave across the country, the authorities said.
