"Sesame Street" is erecting a new sign, as it changes hands from HBO to Netflix. And of course PBS is getting a cut.

Netflix has stepped in to save Sesame Street, signing a deal with Sesame Workshop to air new episodes on both the streaming platform and PBS.

The new partnership entails for new episodes of “Sesame Street” from its 56th season to begin streaming later this year.
