Jessica Clements lived out “every girl’s dream” with a standout performance in UCLA Softball’s WCWS win, delivering a moment she – and Bruins fans – will never forget.

Jessica Clements hit a walk-off, two-run home run to carry UCLA past No. 16 Oregon at the Women’s College World Series.

The Oregon Ducks softball team opens up play in the Women’s College World Series with a quarter final matchup against a familiar foe, the UCLA Bruins. Check out the entire bracket here.

UCLA dominated the series and had won 10 of 11 meetings prior to this season. Oregon won the season series for the first time since 2018. In postseason play, UCLA defeated Oregon 7-1 at the 2015 WCWS and won a 2016 Super Regional vs. UO.

With the Bruins down to their last out, Woolery’s two-out, two-run blast caps a four-run seventh in a 5-4 NCAA Super Regional thriller over host South Carolina. Game 3 is Sunday at noon PT.

The No. 8 Gamecocks lost 5-0 to No. 9 UCLA on Sunday in game three of the Columbia Super Regional at Carolina Softball Stadium. With the win, the Bruins advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. The Gamecocks were trying to return to the WCWS for the first time since 1997.

The Women's College World Series begins on Thursday, with Oregon and UCLA facing off in the fourth game of the day. UCLA is no stranger to the WCWS. This marks the school's 33rd time advancing to the Women's College World Series.
