The New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns come out as major winners on a 2025 NFL All-Rookie Team put together by ESPN, but quarterback Tyler Shough was still snubbed.
NFL teams are punting less than ever before. With one week remaining in the 2025 season, NFL teams are averaging 3.5 punts per game. As noted by the Associated Press, that's the lowest average in NFL history.
The 2025 NFL regular season comes to an end in a matter of days. It is time to reflect upon the season and how the rookie class fared. The majority of the midseason All-Rookie team remains intact, but there were some newcomers on the backs of strong regular-season finishes.
One byproduct of heated postseason races is that some squads have already fallen by the wayside. Sixteen are already out, and two more could go soon.

ESPN picks four Saints draft picks for 2025 NFL All-Rookie team
The kids are putting folks on notice. The New Orleans Saints tied two other teams for the most selections on ESPN's 2025 All-Rookie team.
A trio of Seattle Seahawks players are being recognized as first-team All-Pros by ESPN NFL writer Bill Barnwell.
In addition to Shough, three other Saints' rookies earned their wings as they joined ESPN's All-Rookie Team list, per John Sigler of Saints Wire. The three others were CB Quincy Riley, LT Kelvin Banks Jr., and safety Jonas Sanker. In Shough's case, he was on the second team. According to Ben Solak of ESPN, Banks has emerged as a viable left tackle.
Seventeen weeks into the 2025 NFL season, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has a 58.3 " Total QBR " rating from ESPN, which ranks 12th out of 32 starting QBs. Nix's traditional passer rating is 88.2.
Trent Williams is the only 49ers player named to Bill Barnwell's 2025 NFL All-Pro team as he continues anchoring the offense heading into Week 18.
