Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant debuted a new celebration earlier this week after he was fined $75,000 for making finger-gun gestures twice during Memphis' 110-108 win against the Miami Heat last week. The celebration has Morant mimicking the motion of throwing a grenade after making a 3-pointer and covering his ears.

Morant had been fined $75,000 after defying a warning from the NBA about a gun celebration, so he went to this.

A lot has been made of Morant's new 3-point celebration. For those of you out of the loop, the Grizzlies' star point guard is tossing imaginary grenades into the crowd and covering his ears to celebrate the 3-point bombs he drops.

Speaking to reporters after Thursday's 141-125 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Morant said the message to the Grizzlies going forward is "play some f--king defense and go get a win." Some of the defensive issues can be attributed to Morant,

Morant chipped in 36 points (13-27 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 5-7 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Thursday's 141-125 loss to Minnesota. Morant is ending the regular season on a sizzling note,

Play some f**king defense and go get a win." After the loss, the Grizzlies dropped from the sixth seed to the seventh seed. They're now engaged in a three-way tie between the Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves.
