A little over a year after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Dave Coulier announced exclusively on the "TODAY" show that he is undergoing treatment for an unrelated tongue cancer.

Dave Coulier, known for his role as Uncle Joey on “Full House,” announced on Tuesday that he is battling a new cancer, just seven months after sharing he had beaten non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

“The silver lining here is that I had cancer, which helped me detect my other cancer.
