Boeing Co. has resumed contract talks with leaders of the union representing some 3,200 factory workers in the St. Louis area, after members resoundingly rejected its initial offer and voted to strike.

More than 3,200 Boeing employees at defense division factories in the St. Louis area could walk off the job Sunday, halting production of the aerospace company’s fighter jets. Earlier this year, the eatery, located at 313 North Euclid Avenue, stopped serving alcohol.

The aircraft manufacturer generated revenue of $22.7 billion in Q2, as it continues to monitor the trade environment and braces for another work stoppage at its Missouri and Illinois facilities.
