On Sunday, about three planes had to change their landing plans due to a police helicopter flying near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).

The Pentagon is suspending all of its helicopters from flying near Reagan National Airport. It comes after a recent safety incident where an Army helicopter caused two commercial flights to abort their landings.

A "go-around" maneuver is performed when a pilot must abort or reject landing on the final approach or once the aircraft has already touched down.
