Rainstorms are possible for parts of North Texas this Father's Day.For the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the chance for storms will likely be around lunchtime, which will unfortunately impact any grilling plans and outdoor activities.

A flood watch is in effect through Thursday evening for Tarrant, Dallas, Rockwall and Kaufman counties, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort

Storm chances will continue into the weekend in North Texas. As of Monday, there’s a 30% chance of storms on Saturday, June 14, and 20% on Sunday, June 15. Temperatures over the weekend will be in the low 90s.
