Bryce Harper homered and doubled three times, Jesús Luzardo struck out seven and gave up three hits in seven innings, and the Philadelphia Phillies kept Justin Verlander winless with a 13-0 rout of the San Francisco Giants.

Harper homered in the fourth and had three doubles, ending his extra-base hit drought since returning from the injured list on June 30.

In sum, Verlander pitched well enough to finally earn his first win of the season — his first win as a Giant. Instead, Verlander will go into the All-Star Break with no victories and seven losses on his résumé after allowing four runs — two earned — over six innings as the Giants were blown out, 13-0, by the Phillies.
