Modern-day RE has transcended its zombie game origins, so it will be a shame if Resident Evil Requiem backslides towards that undead cliche.

If Requiem is tying the knot on the series for its 30th anniversary, then it needs to go back to its George Romero roots.

Capcom will be offering a new look at Resident Evil Requiem later this month, during a special livestream featuring other games.
