A wet and rainy Florida could soon see even more precipitation in the coming days, according to the National Weather Service, which has warned the Gulf Coast will face a flood-generating system that could form into Tropical Storm Dexter.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking a disturbance moving into the Northern Gulf that they say has a 40% chance of organizing into a tropical depression. As of midday Tuesday, the disorganized area of thunderstorms was traversing the Florida peninsula,
