A new report from the National Transportation Safety Board shows Boeing had previously reported problems similar to what UPS Flight 2976 experienced.

An aircraft that crashed in flames in Kentucky in November had a structural flaw that had been identified by Boeing on similar planes 15 years ago, according to investigators.

The service letter noted four previous failures of a support structure that helps secure the plane’s engines to the wings.
