Texas Rangers center fielder Wyatt Langford is on the 10-day injured list because of an oblique strain for the second time this season.

The Rangers on Friday acknowledged the obvious. Neither oblique injuries nor prized young players are to be toyed with. And so another hitter, this time outfielder Wyatt Langford, has been placed on the injured list with a mildly strained left oblique muscle.

The Texas Rangers expect to have one of their top outfielders back on Saturday, but how they’ll make room for him is a question.
