Schottenheimer is a sucker for an efficient running game. Unfortunately, the Cowboys are pretty far from efficient on the ground. In 2024, Dallas finished with an EPA/rush of -0.128 ( 26 th in the NFL) and a success rate of 40.3 percent (14 th in the NFL). That kind of inefficiency isn’t going to cut if for Schottenheimer.
