Laughton traded to Maple Leafs by Flyers for prospect, 2027 1st-round pick
Scott Laughton was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs by the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday for forward prospect Nikita Grebenkin and a conditional first-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. The Maple Leafs also acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft and a sixth-round pick in the 2027 draft.

The Flyers traded Laughton to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Nikita Grebenkin and a first-round pick. The Flyers are retaining 50% of Laughton's contract and sending a 2025 fourth-rounder and 2027 sixth-rounder to the Leafs. Philly is getting a 2027 first-rounder with a top-10 protection from the Leafs.
Laughton played in 661 games, the 14th most in Flyers history, and notched 265 points (106 goals, 159 assists).
