Fire containment has increased in most of the wildfires burning on Colorado’s Western Slope as firefighters get a handle on the multiple blazes that have charred thousands of acres.

Together, the fires burning on Colorado’s Western Slope had consumed nearly 25,000 acres as of Sunday morning.
