Goose, a five-foot-long monitor lizard on the loose for a couple of weeks, was spotted in the Bay State after he was seen in Connecticut.

Just one week after a large water monitor lizard named Goose escaped from his home in Webster, Mass., the far-roaming reptile has been spotted in Connecticut. In a post on Facebook, the town of Thompson, Conn., told residents that Goose had been spotted in the Little Pond area around 9 p.m., near Wilsonville and Thompson Road.

Water monitors are a type of lizard with sharp teeth, and this one named Goose that is black with white scars on its back was last seen around Little Pond in Thompson, Connecticut, according to a Facebook post on Friday, July 25 by that town’s animal control officer.
