Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has deployed more than 5,000 Texas National Guard troops and more than 2,000 state police to help local law enforcers manage Saturday protests against the Trump administration.

A federal judge sided on Thursday with California Gov. Gavin Newsom in the case against President Trump over his decision to federalize National Guard troops in response to anti-ICE protests in LA.

After his bout with postpartum depression, a Texas father created the "Daddy Stroller Social Club." Now, with chapters in multiple cities, the club has become a way for dads to support each other.

Crowds will gather on the National Mall on Saturday for a military parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the army. It also happens to coincide with President Trump's 79th birthday.
