The Senate version of President Trump's "one big, beautiful bill" is still coming together and would have to be sent back to the House.

GOP leaders hope to vote this week, but they still need to work through key issues across both chambers on Medicaid, clean energy and state and local tax deductions.

“We are making good headway,” said Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D. He expects the Senate will get this “past the finish line” by the end of the week, sending it back to the House for swift action.
