A new wildfire was reported today at 2 a.m. in Humboldt County. Jackson Fire has been burning on federal land managed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. There is currently no information on the containment or cause of the fire.
As of 6:04 p.m., CAL FIRE reports that the fire remains at 175 acres and is now 50% contained. All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. Crews will remain on scene throughout the night improving containment lines.

Cahuilla Fire initially started today at 12:30 p.m. in Riverside County. After being active for less than an hour, it has burned 75 acres, an increase of 75 acres since the last update. Currently, details about the containment of the fire are unknown.
