A Fredonia couple hosted over 40 evacuees from the White Sage Fire, demonstrating community resilience amid the devastation.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Coconino County starting at 4:43 p.m. July 17.

Fire crews allowed a fire to burn through brush on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. They they lost control.

The White Sage Fire is located on Bureau of Land Management land, west of Jacob Lake and southeast of Fredonia.
