The Detroit Pistons announced Friday the signing of free agent Javonte Green. Green, 32, appeared in a combined 68 games last season as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans (50 games) and Cleveland Cavaliers (18 games). The veteran wing averaged 5.1 points on 42.9% shooting from the field and 3.2 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game.

The Pistons will sign Javonte Green for one year at the minimum salary. Thus, the Michigan team puts the finishing touches on its small forward rotation. In the 2023-24 season, Green had the best year of his career with the Chicago BullsBut last season,
