SINGAPORE — Singapore’s long-ruling People’s Action Party won another landslide in Saturday’s general elections, extending its 66-year unbroken rule in a huge boost for Prime Minister Lawrence Wong who took power a year ago.

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's People's Action Party (PAP) won the Singapore General Election Saturday by a landslide, securing 87 of the 97 parliamentary seats, local media reported.

GE2025 Polling Day (3 May) started at 8am in Singapore and wrapped up around 2am with the People's Action Party securing a strong performance. In what was Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's first general election as PAP leader, the ruling party won 87 of 97 seats.
