Max Verstappen skipped Lewis Hamilton’s glitzy F1 film premiere in Monaco — and his quiet explanation has fans reading between the lines.

Max Verstappen was one of two notable absentees as Formula 1 drivers were treated to a special screening of the new F1 movie in Monaco.

The film was shown to the vast majority of the F1 grid at a private screening in Monaco ahead of this weekend's Grand Prix. The likes of George Russell, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris were seen arriving at the glitzy event on Wednesday night. However, it seemed not everybody was interested enough to make the effort.
