Meet Todd Ely, a space navigator, and the Principal Investigator for the Deep Space Atomic Clock (DSAC) launching this month on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket as part of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Space Test Program-2 mission. At the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Todd is developing new ways to navigate in deep space that will be critical for human exploration of the solar system.
