Queen Moremi Ajasoro legendary was a Yoruba heroine celebrated for her immense bravery and ultimate sacrifice to liberate her people from invaders, making her a symbol of courage, patriotism, and female empowerment in African history, honored with festivals and statues in Nigeria. Moremi was married to Oranmiyan, the son of Oduduwa, the first king of Ile-Ife. Festivals are held for her and there has been plays created to tell her story.
