This year was all about learning to truly listen to my body. I leaned heavily into hot yoga, sculpt, and reformer Pilates, while eating very small amounts to stay “skinny.” In June, I started running and that changed everything. I learned I actually needed a lot of carbs for fuel. That was hard for me at first because I believed carbs would make me “gain weight,” but I chose to listen to my body anyway. Slowly, I reintroduced strength training and added sculpt/ mat Pilates into my weekly splits.
